Brunello di Montalcino
The estate of Castiglion del Bosco grows only Sangiovese, and its entire line of wines is an expression of the two local denominations: three different interpretations of Brunello and the Rosso di Montalcino. But winemaking rigor and Sangiovese are not the only voices of Castiglion del Bosco, since the winery speaks with an international voice as well. Prima Pietra, the second vineyard property of Massimo Ferragamo, lies in Riparbella, on the Tuscan coast, with its 11 hectares (27 acres) of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.
