Renato Corino Estate

In 2005, after 20 years of working together, the Corino brothers decided to split their father’s estate. That year marked the beginning of the Azienda Agricola Renato Corino, a new winery situated in the heart of the Arborina cru vineyard of Barolo.

Driven by passion and enthusiasm, Renato dedicates himself to his land and wine making tradition. The management of the winery and vineyards is completely in the hands of Renato, supported by his children, Stefano and Chiara.

Renato Corino maintains holdings in the following cru in the La Morra commune of Barolo: Arborina, Rocche dell’Annunziata, Conca and Roncaglie. The four Barolos produced by the winery are Barolo del Comune di La Morra, Barolo Arborina, and Barolo Rocche dell’Annunziata. The last, Barolo Riserva is comprised of a special selection of 50 year old Nebbiolo vines from the Rocche vineyard.

Barolo DOCG Arborina

This Barolo, made entirely from Nebbiolo from the Arborina cru, is full of feminine expression and nuance. An ethereal bouquet offers aromas of roses, mint, wild berries, milk chocolate, smoke, and sweet tangerine peel. The framework of velvety tannins, characteristic to Nebbiolo from Arborina, is the structure upon which a palette of full fruit and spice emerge. The finish is extensive and elegant.

Barolo DOCG Rocche dell'Annunziata

Strong and dramatic flavors characterize the Rocche dell’Annunziata cru in the commune of La Morra. This wine, made entirely of Nebbiolo from Rocche, expresses aromas of sweet wild cherries, giving way to a smoky complex of autumn spices, roasting coffee, and unsweetened cocoa. Smooth tannins are lifted by vibrancy, offering a pure expression of this historical location
